CLUB POLICIES
SAFETY
- Safe practices are essential for all rowers.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY
- EVERY YEAR all members and guests are required to sign a liability waiver form PRIOR to using the boats or other equipment.
- Rowers under 18 must have a parent or guardian signature on the Liability Release form.
DUES
- Dues are billed in March and cover the year from April 1st through March 31st the following year.
- Boathouse keys are not issued to members until dues are paid.
PAYMENTS
- The treasurer request that all payment of dues, fees, and deposits be made by check to provide clear documentation of payment.
BOATHOUSE KEYS
- Boathouse locks will be changed each April.
- Keys are issued upon request to members in good standing.
- Members must have taken a "learn to row" course, or otherwise demonstrated a knowledge of boat handling, boat safety, boathouse procedures, and rowing ability before a key will be issued.
- Junior / High School Crew members will not be issued keys, or allowed to row unless supervised by either a coach or an experienced club member.
- There is a one time $5 deposit on keys. There is no deposit fee for subsequent keys issued in later years.
- Lost keys will be replaced for an additional $5 deposit.
- Members are FORBIDDEN to make duplicate keys. Keys are stamped DO NOT DUPLICATE.
- Keys must not be labeled or otherwise marked to indicate that they are for the boathouse.
USE OF EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES
- Use of the clubhouse and equipment is restricted to members in good standing.
- Guests are NOT allowed to use the equipment unless supervised by a club coach or other experienced club member. All guests must sign a Release of Liability form.
- Boathouse should be locked if everyone is on the water. Take your key with you.
- The Club is not responsible nor lible for lost or stolen items left at the boathouse or on the grounds while members are out on the water.
- Members are responsible for stowing all equipment and cleaning up after using equipment or facility.
- Members should report damaged equipment to a coach or board of directors as soon as possible.
- Members are responsible for damage to equipment due to negligence.
- The board may authorize groups to use the clubhouse for special events.
