Rowing in Michigan's Saginaw Valley

Founded in 1989,
The Bay City Rowing Club is a
non-profit community rowing organization with a mission to promote rowing as a healthy and rewarding activity for people of all ages.
Located on the wide and calm Saginaw River, the club offers some of the best rowing in the Mid-West. The Victorian style boat house provides storage for both club and member boats as well as meeting and exercise rooms. The spacious grounds, surrounded by the Middle Grounds park and connected to the River Walk pier and rail trail, are great for pinics and other activities.
The Club's long, wide floating dock sits on a calm water channel off the main river.
Launching and recovery is easy even with multiple boats.
The club provides a complete rowing opportunity to the entire community including: training, sport rowing, recreational rowing, social activities, competition, boat storage and meeting rooms.
Membership is open to anyone. Membership classifications include Adult, Family, Student and Supporting Associate.
The rowing season begins in April each year. The boathouse remains open until late fall.
