Member Rowing

Club members can participate freely in weekly group rowing sessions beginning in April (weather permitting) and continuing every Monday night, Wednesday night and Saturday morning throughout the season. Any member, experienced or new, is encouraged to participate in group rows when they are available.

Weekly rowing times:

Mondays at 6:00 p.m.
Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays at 9:00 a.m.

Singles Rowing

Members of the club who wish to use single sculls must demonstrate that they are trained and capable of handling a single shell safely. The group rowing sessions are designed to get a new rower to this level of experience. The typical qualifier is a row around the island by yourself, demonstrating proper awareness and boat handling. After this has been completed, you are eligible to receive a boathouse key and row a single by yourself at anytime.

Rowers must be members to participate in group rowing sessions or take out single sculls. See Membership page for details.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
